Dates announced for the Festival's 2012 Centennial Celebration

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is thrilled to announce that the Centennial Celebration, in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the gift of cherry blossom trees from Tokyo to Washington, DC, will be held from March 20 – April 27, 2012. The Festival has an unprecedented 5-week tribute planned, filled with world-class events and can’t-miss entertainment!

The events section has more information on the schedule so far. The official Opening Ceremony is moving to the Convention Center on Sunday, March 25. Family Days will expand with a second day of free fun at the National Building Museum on Saturday-Sunday, March 24 & 25. The Parade will be Saturday, April 14. Check back often for more event updates!
