Blossoms by Bike: Celebrate the arrival of spring with this two-hour ride! See the natural beauty of our Nation’s Capital at its peak on our guided ride created especially for the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Come with us and bike the sea of pink and white blossoms that surround the Potomac Tidal Basin to East Potomac Park and beyond (2 hour tour).

Blossoms by Bike River Ride: Ride along the scenic Mount Vernon Trail from Old Town Alexandria to DC and experience magnificent views of the cherry blossoms from across the Potomac River. We will then continue into DC and around the Tidal Basin where you will see the blossoms up close and learn the history of these beautiful gifts before heading back to Alexandria (3 hour tour).

National Mall location (Old Post Office Pavilion):

  • Tours held daily: 12 Noon – 2 PM and 3 – 5 PM; Saturday and Sundays: additional tour 9:30 – 11:30 AM
  • Departs from Old Post Office Pavilion: 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (map)
  • Public Transportation: Bike and Roll is located across the street from the Federal Triangle Metro stop (blue and orange lines) and one block from Metro Center (red line).
  • Parking: Parking on the street has a two hour limit, so we suggest using a local parking garage (ex. 540 12th St NW)
  • Cost: $35 per Adult; $25 for Children (12 & under)

Union Station location:

  • Tours held Fridays – Sundays: 2 – 4:30 PM
  • Departs from the Bike Station: 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE (map)
  • Public Transportation: Located at the top of the escalator at the Union Station stop (red line)
  • Parking: Parking is available in the garage behind Union Station
  •  Cost: $35 for Adults; $25 for Children (12 & under)

Old Town Alexandria location:

  • Tours held Fridays – Sundays: 1 – 4 PM
  • Departs from: One Wales Alley, Alexandria, VA 22314 (map)
  • Public Transportation: Take the blue or orange lines to the King Street station, then hop on the free trolly and take to the Union St stop
  • For street parking please visit Alexandriava.gov.
  •  Cost: $40 for Adults; not recommended for children 12 & under
