Celebration of Spring Continues with Passport DC

Passport DC, the month-long celebration of international culture, returns this May to take visitors and residents on a global journey through Washington, DC. This year Cultural Tourism DC’s Passport DC celebrates its fifth anniversary with more to explore than ever before: open houses at more than 70 participating embassies, signature events, international street festivals, and special performances.

On Saturday May 5, the Around the World Embassy Tour kicks off Passport DC from 10 am to 4 pm. On that day more than 40 embassies representing six continents invite DC visitors and residents to travel the world as they enjoy the culture of different countries.  This year, participants can purchase a commemorative souvenir passport and have it stamped at the embassies.
