Festival Launches EmBark, Branch and Blossom
Join the National Cherry Blossom Festival to EmBark, Branch and Blossom. The new program helps promote the importance of tree plantings by engaging the community. In 2012, the Festival committed to planting more than 1,000 cherry trees throughout the Washington, DC region in honor of the 100-year anniversary of the gift of trees. Individuals can now join the effort and contribute today!
Every new cherry tree is an investment in the community, the future of blossoms, and a greener tomorrow. Tree plantings foster an appreciation of nature and continue the circle of giving that began in 1912. Your contribution goes toward the program and cost of acquiring, planting, maintaining, and caring for the trees Join the list of donors to help make a lasting mark on the environment today.
