Festival Wins Ten Prestigious Pinnacle Awards Including Bronze Grand Pinnacle
The Festival is thrilled to win ten coveted Pinnacle Awards from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), including bronze in the Grand Pinnacle category. The Grand Pinnacle is IFEA’s highest award, reflecting the best overall festival or event in the world within four different budget categories. The Festival also earned:

- Silver – Best Children’s Programming for Family Days presented with the National Building Museum and sponsored by Safeway
- Silver – Best Full Length TV Program for the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade®, nationally syndicated for the first time in 2012

All accolades were for the 2012 Festival, honoring the 100-year anniversary of the gift of trees from Tokyo to Washington, DC.
