Opening Ceremony Ticket Information

The official Opening Ceremony is March 23, 2013 at the Warner Theatre (513 13th Street, NW), from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Free registration is available online beginning at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 20, and is required for all attendees.

Over the past few years, the Opening Ceremony has become firmly established as a showcase for great Japanese and American talent.  The all-age show features outstanding performances that help tell the story of how the gift of trees has evolved into today’s National Cherry Blossom Festival. The Opening Ceremony is supported by the Japan Commerce Association of Washington, DC Foundation.
