Three Yoshino Cherry Trees Planted at Capitol Heights Elementary School on November 20, 2015

The National Cherry Blossom Festival and The Japan-America Society of Washington DC planted three trees, one of which was a legacy tree, meaning it was grown from cuttings taken from the second generation of cherry trees that line the Tidal Basin.
