Driving and Parking
The Tidal Basin is accessible by the following routes:
- Interstate 395 from the South
- Interstate 495, New York Avenue, Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway, George Washington Memorial Parkway, and the Cabin John Parkway from the North
- Interstate 66, U.S. Routes 50 and 29 from the West
- U.S. Routes 50, 1, and 4 provide access from the East
Shuttle Information
ANC Tours by Martz Gray Line is operating a shuttle between Hains Point and Thomas Jefferson Memorial through April 15. This shuttle service is $1 per person for each boarding and runs daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, with a number of shuttle stops between Hains Point and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.
