Goodwill Ambassadors

Each year the National Cherry Blossom Festival selects a group of young adults to be part of one of its most highly regarded and signature programs: the Goodwill Ambassador Program. The final group is comprised of talented, energetic individuals who have a true passion for international relations, community involvement, and the Festival.

Goodwill Ambassador at Family DaysGoodwill Ambassadors in past years have had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador of Japan and leaders in the DC community. They’ve been involved in the Festival’s Neighborhood Tree Planting and Youth Ambassador programs, coordinated hands-on activities for children, and have served as an indispensable resource for visitors to the Festival. Follow some of their activities in the News & Events section.

College students and recent graduates interested in learning more about the Goodwill Ambassador Program are encouraged to review the application and contact Elissa Staley with any questions.

The 2015 Application will be released the week of September 1, 2014. The 2014 flier is coming soon.
